Why USD 7 a year

Because export documentation software is usually sold at a price that makes sense for a freight forwarder with fifty staff, not for a manufacturer sending four containers a year. A single demurrage day at a busy port costs more than a decade of this subscription. The price is deliberately low enough that no one has to build a business case for it, and it is a flat annual amount rather than a per-document charge, so nobody is tempted to reuse an old PDF to save a credit.

How the free limit works in practice

A document counts once, when you first create it. Editing it, correcting a typo, changing the validity date or re-downloading the PDF costs nothing extra — a proforma that goes through three rounds of negotiation with the same buyer is still one document. Converting an accepted proforma into a commercial invoice on the Pro plan does not consume anything either, because it is the same record in a different state. That design is deliberate: a pricing model that charges per PDF pushes people to keep editing an old file offline, which is exactly how a wrong buyer name ends up on a letter of credit.

What we do not charge for

  • Extra users are not billed separately. The subscription covers the account, not seats.
  • No setup fee, no onboarding call, no annual “platform” charge.
  • No charge for storing documents. Your archive stays available for as long as the account exists.
  • No charge for support. Questions about the software are answered on both plans.
  • No lock-in. Every document exports as a PDF you keep, and cancelling never deletes what you already produced.

How this compares with the alternatives

OptionTypical annual costTrade-off
Word or Excel templateOffice licence you already pay forFree in theory; the cost is retyping and the errors that follow it
General invoicing softwareTens to hundreds of USDBuilt for domestic billing: no HS code field, no Incoterms rule, no consignee or notify party
ERP or trade documentation suiteHundreds to thousandsComplete, and appropriate for a forwarder with a documentation team

To be clear about what this is not: it does not keep your books, it does not file customs declarations, and it does not classify goods for you. It produces the documents, with the fields international trade actually requires — see what a proforma invoice must contain.

Your data

The documents you create belong to you. We do not sell data, we do not use the contents of your invoices for advertising, and we do not share your buyer list with anyone. Traffic is encrypted, passwords are stored hashed, and you can export or delete your data at any time. The detail is in the privacy policy.

Billing questions

Is the Free plan a trial?

No. It does not expire. Three documents reset at the start of every calendar month, and unused documents do not carry over.

What happens when I reach the free limit?

You can still open, download and send documents you have already created. New documents wait until the next month or until you upgrade.

Does the Pro plan renew automatically?

Yes, annually, and you can cancel at any time from your account. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the paid year, then the account returns to the Free plan — your documents remain accessible.

Is the price per user?

No. It is per account.

Which currencies can I invoice in?

Documents can be issued in the major trade currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, AED, SAR, CNY and others. The subscription itself is billed in US dollars.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser, on a laptop or a phone, which matters when a buyer asks for a revised proforma while you are at a trade fair.

Still deciding?

Look at the free template first and compare it with what you use today. If you want to understand the document itself before choosing a tool, start with what a proforma invoice is and the Incoterms 2020 guide. Questions about billing go to the contact page.
